Terms of Service

Last updated: September 15, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By using DevToolsHub (tools.syntaxsutra.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must meet the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction to use this site (13 in the US, 16 in the EU/UK unless your country sets a lower age).

DevToolsHub is published under the SyntaxSutra name by an individual, not a registered company. References to "we", "us", or "SyntaxSutra" throughout these Terms mean that individual, operating in a personal capacity.

Use of tools — general disclaimer

All tools are provided free of charge, "as is", without warranty of any kind. While we aim for accuracy, results are provided for convenience and general informational purposes only.

Not legal, financial, medical, or tax advice

Nothing generated by any tool on this site — including the BMI Calculator, Age Calculator, EMI Calculator, Percentage Calculator, Invoice Generator, or Resume Builder — constitutes legal, financial, medical, or tax advice. Always consult a qualified professional (a doctor, financial advisor, accountant, or lawyer as appropriate) before making decisions based on these tools' output.

Electronic signatures — important notice

The E-Signature Tool lets you place a drawn or typed signature image onto a PDF document. This tool does not guarantee that the resulting document is a legally binding electronic signature in your jurisdiction. Legal recognition of electronic signatures varies by country and by the type of document (for example, the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA, the EU's eIDAS regulation, and India's IT Act each set their own requirements — some documents, like wills or certain real-estate transactions, may not be eligible for electronic signature at all under local law). This tool does not provide identity verification, tamper-evident sealing, audit trails, or certificate-based authentication of the kind offered by dedicated e-signature services. For contracts or documents where legal enforceability matters, use a certified e-signature provider or consult a lawyer.

Invoices and business documents

The Invoice Generator is a formatting tool only. You are solely responsible for ensuring any invoice you generate complies with the tax, numbering, and record-keeping requirements of your country (for example, GST/VAT invoice requirements, sequential numbering rules, or mandatory disclosures). We do not verify or guarantee compliance with any jurisdiction's invoicing laws.

No guarantee of availability

We do not guarantee that the site or any tool will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyntaxSutra and DevToolsHub shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site or its tools — including damages arising from reliance on a signed document, generated invoice, or any calculator's output.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, including attempting to disrupt its operation, scrape it at abusive rates, or use any tool for unlawful purposes — including using the E-Signature Tool to forge a signature or misrepresent authorship of a document.

International use

This site is accessible from most countries. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of this site and its tools complies with the laws applicable to you in your own country. We make no representation that the site or its tools are appropriate or legally usable in every jurisdiction, and access from some locations may be restricted by local law outside of our control.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law in your own country mandatorily applies regardless of this clause.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
